TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a respected secondary school in Bristol, to appoint a dedicated Humanities Teacher from November 2025. This is a long-term position covering a planned staff absence, with the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Humanities curriculum (History, Geography, RE or related subjects)
* Differentiate effectively to support all learners, including those in exam year groups
* Contribute to curriculum planning and department development
* Create a positive classroom culture with strong behaviour management
* Engage with whole-school initiatives and enrichment activities
Qualifications
* QTS or equivalent UK/overseas teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities disciplines
* A creative, inclusive, and reflective approach to teaching
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A commitment to student progress and high standards of learning
