Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Usk, Monmouthshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Usk, Monmouthshire for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days with shifts between 8:30am and 7pm, along with 1 in 3 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role
12. The role will be based in both the main surgery and also across the branch surgeries on a shared rota basis.
13. The role will involve a split between surgeries, consultations and in patient care.
14. Certificate support and funding is available and encouraged.

16. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
17. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

20. They are fully equipped with facilities including Ultrasound, endoscopy, digital x-ray, dental x-ray and theatre and in house laboratory.
21. They have a supportive team of 6 Vets, 10 Nurses, practice manager and reception team. They have certificate holding surgeons in house in small animal medicine and surgery so therefore they are able to treat a wide variety of cases in house.

Package
33. Salary: Up to £65, per annum, commensurate to experience
34. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
