Scotland (Livingston, Glasgow, Hillington, Edinburgh) Competitive Rates Excellent Benefits Package About the Role We’re on the lookout for experienced HGV Drainage Engineers to support our growing infrastructure and drainage maintenance works across Scotland. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll be working with specialist jetting and vacuum tankers, carrying out drainage cleans, reactive blockage clearance, and supporting CCTV investigations. Whether you're from a utilities, highways, or environmental services background — if you’ve got the HGV and drainage know-how, we want to hear from you. What you will be doing: Operating HGV jet vac/combination units for drain and sewer cleaning Carrying out planned and reactive drainage maintenance Supporting CCTV survey crews (when required) Attending emergency callouts for blockages or flooding Completing job reports via handheld devices Working to strict safety standards (lone working, confined spaces, etc.) What you will bring: HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) with valid CPC and Digi Card Experience operating high-pressure water jetting equipment Confined space entry (medium/high risk preferred) NRSWA ( Streetworks ) and basic traffic management awareness Cat & Genny use and knowledge of safe excavation practice A solid understanding of drainage systems and site safety Willingness to work flexible hours, including callouts/overtime CSCS card or equivalent (desirable) If you have even one or two of the above it's still worth applying we want to help you gain experience.
