Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join our thriving Academy. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of literature and language while ensuring excellent progress and achievement.
Hailsham Academy is a split‑site, all‑through school serving approximately 1,800 students in the secondary and primary phases. The school is part of the MARK Education Trust and values high standards, a supportive pastoral structure and a focus on quality teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Must not be disqualified under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018 in connection with relevant childcare provision.
* Required to complete a self‑declaration form confirming no disqualification under the 2018 Regulations.
* All staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity).
* All successful candidates will be subject to disclosure and barring service checks and other relevant employee checks.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
