As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in supporting the brigade, ensuring all dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented in line with our food philosophy and quality standards.
What you'll be doing as a Demi Chef de Partie:
* Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the RA Group standards and portion specifications
* Directing the tasks and training any commis chefs or kitchen assistants working in your section
* Ensuring food is recovered and stored correctly to minimise waste and to comply with healthy and safety requirements
* Record food waste accurately
* Assist with the processing of food orders (where required)
* Assist with the receipt and storage of deliveries
* Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchens and surrounding working areas
* Perform other general tasks to support effective food service delivery
What you'll need to be a great Demi Chef de Partie:
* Demonstrate excitement for food
* Strong cooking skills with a willing to learn new skills
* A team player supports the team
* Calm, courteous and professional
* Must be able to maintain standards and follow procedures
