Theatre Nurses (Anaesthetics and Scrub)

Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
1. Queens Medical Centre: Derby Road, Lenton, Nottingham, NG7 2UH
2. Nottingham City Hospital: Hucknall Road, Nottingham, NG5 1PB
Pay Rates:
3. Band 5: £22.50 – £25.61 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
4. Provide professional and compassionate nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
5. Assist with anaesthesia and manage theatre equipment.
6. Prepare and maintain sterile environments, ensuring all surgical instruments are properly handled and available.
7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
Requirements:
9. Valid NMC registration
10. At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Anaesthetics or Scrub Sector
11. Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.
12. Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
13. Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
