Overview:

This role involves a variety of administrative tasks that support the efficient and smooth operation of residential property transactions. The role will assist our Solicitors and Legal Assistants to ensure all relevant administrative processes are handled in a timely and accurate manner.
What you'll be responsible for:
* As a Legal Administrator, you will:
* Chase money on account and ensure completion of client care paperwork.
* Liaise with estate agents to obtain memo's of sale and with sellers' solicitors for contract papers.
* Review Client Questionnaires to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Log incoming post and ensure timely distribution.
* Provide reception cover as required.
* Obtain title deeds from the Land Registry and issue contract papers to buyers' solicitors.
* Upload contract papers to the Orbital portal.
* Order redemption statements and management packs.
* Order searches on a purchase when client funds are received.
* Send Gift Letters to donors, as needed.
* Chase solicitors/clients for outstanding information, as requested by fee earners.
* Prepare and run exchange and completion letters.
* Download mortgage offers and save them to client files.
* Prepare post-completion checklists for fee earners.
* Ensure the Transaction Management (TM) system is kept up-to-date and accurate for reporting purposes.
* Upload OS1 documents to Lender Exchange/LMS.
* Clear residual balances as necessary.
* Prepare Completion Packs (details to be confirmed).
* Maintain high levels of client and company confidentiality.
* Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by your line manager or Director.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in an administration role is preferable.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
* Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality.
* Strong level of literacy and numeracy.
* Team player.
