Job description:

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Aylesford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Drivers to join the team.

Hours:

Afternoon Shift 10 hours

Sunday

Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Pay Rate:

Class 2

£14.81 per hour rising to £15.56 per hour PAYE

Class 1

£15.80 per hour rising to £16.50 per hour PAYE

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

* Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance.
* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
* Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
* Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

1. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
2. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
3. Full understanding of WTD legislation.
4. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
