About the Role
Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in creating a sparkling environment for our guests? As the Venue Cleaning Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our public areas and entertainment venues shine across the resort.
Reporting to the Venue Cleaning Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our team is in the right place at the right time to meet fluctuating guest demands while maintaining high operational standards and guest experiences. Your leadership will guide the team in cleaning our entertainment venues post-shows, maintaining all toilet facilities, and managing venue furniture setup. You’ll even tackle high-level cleaning using industrial equipment for both indoor and outdoor spaces!
Your mission? To support and coach your team, ensuring they deliver exceptional experiences while driving key metrics related to our Clean and Fault Free (CAFF) approach.
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a proactive leader who can:
* Ensure the delivery of our cleaning standards while enhancing both Guest and Employee NPS.
* Conduct quality control checks and lead constructive feedback conversations.
* Effectively execute the Right People, Right Place, Right Time (RPRPRT) strategy.
This permanent role covers 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including weekends, with a late shift pattern from 5:30 PM to 2 AM.
About You
As a leader, you will ensure a successful cleaning operation during your shift, strictly adhering to our CAFF standards. You’ll stay informed about NPS scores within your department and take proactive steps to enhance these scores and minimize guest complaints.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting online quality control checks and analyzing reports.
* Leading feedback discussions and ensuring your team receives necessary training and support.
* Managing the initial 90-day program for new team members and overseeing all personnel-related activities, from onboarding to performance management.
* Setting clear objectives and PDPs for your team, supporting team surveys, and leading action plans.
* Upholding brand standards and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Extensive operational knowledge in managing a cleaning or soft services team.
* A proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs.
* High standards and meticulous attention to detail.
* Experience in leading both permanent and temporary teams to achieve outstanding results.
* Flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
