Overview

We are currently looking for a Biomedical Scientist to join the Western Health and Social Care Trust in the Cellular Pathology Department at Altnagelvin.
They require a locum Biomedical Scientist who has extensive experience in sample dissection and microtomy.
Requirements
Extensive experience in sample dissection and microtomy
Must be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Have completed IBMS Specialist Diploma (or equivalent) in Cellular Pathology
1 year's experience in Cellular Pathology
What you'll do as a Biomedical Scientist
The post-holder will work with the Clinical Lead and BMS Service Manager and Laboratory team to ensure the provision of a high quality, cost effective and efficient laboratory service in Cellular Pathology which will meet the standards of UKAS accreditation. The Cellular Pathology service provides Histopathology, Diagnostic Cytology, Andrology and mortuary services in the WHSCT.
