The Vacancy
We have an opportunity for a Security Auditor to join our team at our site in Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Security Manager, this role will establish, implement, maintain and follow up on identified issues and continually improve a Security Audit Program covering Physical, Product and Transportation Security aspects, processes, policies and procedures. This will ensure compliance and minimize security risks through the production chain.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish and maintain a security internal audit plan highlighting elements to be audited and their frequency on a day-to-day basis
2. Conduct internal audits as per established plan ensuring sound communication with auditees prior to the audit to ensure efficient execution of audit
3. Audit all areas regularly to maintain high security presence, addressing and reporting all anomalies according to internal procedures
4. Report audit findings in a structured manner and maintain adequate record-keeping of all audit work sheets, checklists and reports
5. Input Nonconformities, Observations and/or Opportunities for Improvements in a central database in order to facilitate communication with the process owner
6. Actively participate and assist in all improvement suggestions including conducting investigations to resolve issues and managing projects
7. Assist in the monitoring of security processes and advising production staff of the correct security procedures
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Double Day shift pattern – Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm or 2pm - 10pm (alternated weekly).
Base location: Debden
Basic Salary: £39, per annum on Double Days, rising to £41, per annum upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
8. Security qualification - City and Guilds, BTEC, SIA, NVQ or similar with security team experience
9. Product Security experience
10. Security auditing experience
11. Problem solving experience
12. Computer literate- experience working with databases, Word, Excel or similar
13. Coordinating, moderating a team of people for problem solving
