About the job you’re considering

Reporting to the EUS Stores Lead, the role will have responsibility of working alongside stores personnel for ensuring the seamless day to day running of the main IT stores. The individual must be MoD SC Cleared or be capable of obtaining MoD SC Clearance. The candidate must be a sole UK National, with a full UK Driving Licence.

The role is based on-site in Salisbury.

Your role

1. Undertaking a range of generic Logistic activities in a safe and professional manner
2. Working safely at all times, complying with health and safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines
3. Following relevant instructions and be able to use effectively relevant documentation and IT systems that support the logistic activities
4. Ensuring adherence to all Logistics processes (receipt, storage, maintain and dispatch) both physically and within the management tool
5. Manage and maintain stock control procedures, ensure the security, condition and acceptability of all stock
6. Ensure stores are compliant with accordance to Health & Safety standards
7. Carrying out inventory checks and undertake stock discrepancies activity to reconcile inventory records

8. Strong Communication and stakeholder management skills
9. Experience in a warehouse / stores role
10. Experience of working in a change controlled environment
11. Information management skills
12. MS Office
13. Troubleshooting
14. Experience of Service Now or other inventory control programs would be advantageous
15. Exemplary organisation, logistical skills and communication skills
16. Excellent team awareness
17. Customer focused
18. A high energy professional capable of influence and ownership within the EUS Tower
19. Flexible approach and a sense of teamwork
20. Analytical mind who can bring clarity to difficult situations
21. Ability to work well and continue to deliver results under pressure
22. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to establish credibility quickly
23. Self-motivated with the ability to work without direct management control
24. Excellent and confident communicator, with professional business attributes
25. Sense of urgency, to be prepared to take responsibility
26. Agile thinker with a bold approach
27. Experience of KPIs and SLAs; and commercial awareness
28. Organised and a logical approach

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.


To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
