The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with engineers from various backgrounds and communicating effectively
* Maintaining machinery such as conveyor systems, vibrators, packaging machinery, silos, and more
* Fault finding electrically using various techniques, reading drawings, working in panels, and participating in project work relevant to your role
* Working with PLCs to diagnose electrical faults
* Handling components including three-phase motors, sensors, relays, contactors, switches, and more
The Candidate
To be considered for the Maintenance Engineer role, you must:
* Hold a recognized engineering qualification
* Be able to drive within the UK and own a car
* Communicate effectively with other engineers on shift, working closely with the mechanical team
* Be comfortable working as part of a team and independently when needed
* Share the company's call-out responsibilities within the engineering team
Package and Benefits
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will:
* Earn an annual salary between £37,000 - £45,000
* Receive a generous bonus for attending call-outs
* Work either 8-4 or 9-5, Monday to Friday
* Enjoy 24 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, with the option to purchase an additional 5 days
* Benefit from a healthy pension contribution from the company
