What the Job Involves As an Inspection Coordination Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring North Yorkshire Council's preparedness and support during external inspections. Your key responsibilities will include leading and coordinating inspection preparation, maintaining a central evidence base, liaising with internal teams and multi-agency partners, and acting as the main point of contact for the inspection teams. You will also organize logistics, provide updates to senior leaders, and support the development of post-inspection action plans. The role is based at County Hall, Northallerton, with hybrid working available, although onsite presence is required during active inspection periods. Some travel across North Yorkshire may be necessary.
