Duties
* Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
* Schedule and confirm appointments using the office's scheduling system
* Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
* Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
* Maintain patient records and update information as needed
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
* Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
* Follow office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous experience in a dental practice essential
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of dental terminology is a essential
