We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated and friendly team at our purpose-built, Advanced RCVS Accredited Small Animal Referral Hospital in Colchester.
This position is ideal for a confident veterinary surgeon with a strong interest in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) who enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment with access to cutting-edge facilities.
The Role:
You'll be working a 5 nights on, 10 nights off rota – providing you with an excellent work-life balance and ample time to recharge or pursue other interests.
You’ll be responsible for managing emergency and urgent cases, providing overnight care for inpatients, and ensuring the highest standard of clinical care is delivered out of hours. This role offers exposure to a wide range of interesting and challenging cases, working alongside a skilled night RVN team and with full support from our day referral clinical team.
