* Monday to Friday with weekend overtime available,
* Full Time permanent position, Monday to Friday. Overtime paid on weekly hours beyond 52½. Shift start time from 05:00 (may vary daily normally no later than 07:00).

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Utility drivers who will be working out of our site at Woolpit, IP30 9RZ, (occasionally required to work from different location). The role is to cover any vehicle that doesn't have a driver in due to increased fleet, holidays and/or sickness. Nights out will be required to achieve maximum salary. At times the role will be physically demanding and a reasonable level of fitness is required.
The Duties and Tasks
Responsible for delivery and collection to customers premises, with the focus on compliant and safe working practices while keeping the customers' needs in mind. Daily checks of your vehicle to maintain legal compliance. Always operating within the requirements of EU/WTD hours regulations.

The applicant must:
* Have held an HGV Class 1 (HGV Cat C+E) driving licence for a minimum of 12 months with a maximum of 6 penalty points and be over 25 (Insurance purposes). ***Applicants outside this scope may be considered, dependant on previous employment and experiences***.
* Have a full and up to date driver CPC, ongoing training while be provided.
* Be reliable, responsible and compliant in all duties.
* Be a team player, ready to work in a fast-paced environment
* Be prepared to cab hop and drive a variety of vehicles from 7.5T to HGV Class 1
* Have good customer service skills essential when making deliveries
Advantageous Skills:
* ADR trained, however training can be offered
