An established and welcoming Independent School in Northampton is seeking a reliable and responsible Minibus Driver to join our dedicated support team.
This is a key role within the school community, ensuring our pupils travel safely and comfortably to and from school, fixtures and educational visits.
The Role
* Safely transport pupils on designated morning and afternoon routes
* Drive students to sports fixtures, trips and school events as required
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the minibus
* Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
* Report any vehicle defects, incidents or concerns promptly
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds a full, clean UK driving licence (Category D1 preferred)
* Has previous minibus or passenger transport experience (desirable)
* Is punctual, dependable and professional at all times
* Enjoys working within a school environment
* Has a calm, friendly manner with children and young people
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential. All staff are expected to share the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
