Job Description I am currently assisting with a London practice in their search for a Landscape Architect. The salary for this role is up to circa £35,000 depending on experience. This practice is offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from residential and commercial, through to public and community spaces. For this role you will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental sustainability, innovative design practices, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to bring projects to life. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed landscape design concepts and plans Prepare site analysis, design proposals, and technical drawings. Collaborate with architects, urban planners, civil engineers, and environmental consultants to ensure design integration and feasibility. Select appropriate materials, plants, and sustainable design solutions that complement the surrounding environment and meet client requirements. Conduct site visits and manage the execution of projects to ensure design integrity, quality, and compliance with regulations. Coordinate with contractors, landscape teams, and suppliers to manage project timelines and budgets effectively. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance design quality and sustainability practices. Work with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on landscape design, maintenance, and environmental considerations. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field. Proven experience (3 years) in landscape architecture, with a portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in Revit and Vectorworks is beneficial. However, experience is more important for this role than software. Experience and proficiency with masterplanning. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of UK planning policies, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards. This is the perfect role for someone looking to gain experience working through the stages of RIBA.
