Salary: Un progressed £36,363 - £39,862 per annum. Progressed £40,777 - £45,091 per annum

It is an exciting time to join the Council as they have embarked on a new model of social work practice which is more relationship based and utilises traditional social work skills.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the well-established Adult Community Team, which delivers services to achieve the best outcomes for adults and older people who have care and support needs.
Skills and Qualifications
For this post they are looking for an experienced social worker who has an interest in supporting older people with mental health difficulties.
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, registered social worker.
They are proud and committed to working alongside people and their carers, to enable them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives, as part of their local communities.
It is essential that you have a social work qualification and have a clear understanding of the Care Act and Local Authorities statutory duties.
The successful applicant will also need to be a dynamic, innovative and committed person, willing to consider all possible options, working with external stakeholders, people and their families, as well as colleagues within the local authority.
