About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Recruitment Consultant / Manager with a background in temporary staffing to take a lead role in developing candidate pipelines and building strong, lasting relationships with clients across facilities management, security, logistics, and warehousing and other related industries.
This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday, based out of our Borehamwood HQ. You’ll be expected to work with independence and initiative — building a high-performing desk and developing new business through a mix of in-person meetings, outbound activity, and candidate sourcing.
You’ll play a key role in our growing recruitment team, working closely with management to meet commercial objectives, while contributing ideas and energy as we expand our reach.
Key Responsibilities
*
Take ownership of candidate sourcing and client acquisition in key sectors: FM, security, logistics, and warehouse operations
*
Develop new business relationships through site visits, networking, outbound calls, and professional outreach — not just telesales and social media outreach.
*
Build and manage a pipeline of quality candidates across a range of temporary roles
*
Manage the full recruitment cycle — from job brief to placement, vetting and aftercare
*
Meet KPIs and growth targets set by the management team
*
Write job ads, support marketing efforts, and maintain candidate engagement
*
Keep accurate records including candidate compliance, availability, and client activity
*
Represent Nextra professionally at client meetings and on-site visits
*
Contribute to the ongoing growth of the business and help shape how we deliver for our clients
*
Be a visible and reliable presence in the office — supporting colleagues and clients day to day
What We’re Looking For
*
Solid experience in temporary recruitment, ideally within FM, security, logistics, or warehousing
*
Proactive and self-motivated — someone who thrives when given responsibility and trust
*
Excellent communication skills and confidence in building new relationships
*
Commercial awareness and understanding of how to build and manage a successful desk
*
Comfortable working independently, with guidance and direction from management
*
Able to build relationships from the ground up and convert opportunities into long-term clients
*
Positive and outgoing personality, with a can-do mindset and willingness to get out in the field
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Based within commuting distance of Borehamwood and available to work in the office Monday to Friday when not out prospecting or visiting clients
What You’ll Get
*
Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
*
Car allowance to support travel for client development
*
A key role in a growing recruitment business with strong group backing
*
Full support from directors and wider management team
*
Real autonomy and responsibility from day one
*
Opportunity to develop your own desk and, over time, contribute to the growth of the wider team
*
Exposure to fast-moving industries and high-volume staffing needs
