About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contract Support professional with a strong finance focus to join a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role plays a key part in supporting both operational and financial performance across the contract, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all financial elements.

You will be responsible for coordinating service delivery while also managing financial processes such as purchase orders, invoicing, and cost control. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining administration, customer service, and finance responsibilities in a varied role.

Key Responsibilities for Contract Support:

1. Provide professional and timely support via phone and email
2. Raise, manage, and track purchase orders and ensure accurate financial records
3. Support the processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
4. Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
5. Process and validate supplier quotations in line with contract requirements
6. Monitor financial aspects of jobs from creation through to completion
7. Liaise with internal finance teams and suppliers to resolve queries
8. Raise and allocate work orders to relevant engineers and teams
9. Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure SLA compliance
10. Maintain accurate system records across PPM, reactive works, and financial data
11. Support supply chain performance and ensure adherence to financial procedures
12. Assist with maintaining QHSE documentation and compliance records
13. Manage and update personnel records (starters, leavers, changes)
14. Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and efficiencies


About You:

15. Strong financial awareness with excellent attention to detail
16. Confident working with numbers, data, and financial systems
17. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
18. Strong communication skills with a professional and proactive approach
19. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
20. A collaborative team player with a positive attitude


Experience & Skills for Contract Support:

21. Previous experience in a contract support, finance admin, or similar role
22. Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, and financial reporting
23. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and basic formulas)
24. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
25. Experience with systems such as Dynamics, Concept, or Maximo is advantageous
26. Comfortable liaising with finance teams, clients, and suppliers


Education:

27. GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths required
28. Further education (A-Level/HNC or equivalent) desirable
