Naidcare is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Homecare and Supported Housing services in Essex, Birmingham and Manchester. This role is more than management, it's about making a real difference in people's lives, supporting our dedicated staff, and ensuring every person we care for feels valued and respected.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day operations of Naidcare's Homecare and Supported Housing services.
* Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence and dignity.
* Recruit, supervise, and develop staff teams, ensuring ongoing professional growth.
* Oversee assessments, personalised care plans, and risk management processes.
* Maintain compliance with CQC and all relevant legislation.
* Foster positive relationships with service users, families, staff, and professionals.
* Represent Naidcare at external meetings and within the community..
* Develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
* Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
* Foster a positive environment that promotes resident well-being and dignity.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care.
* Monitor medication administration and ensure safety protocols are followed.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulations.
* Engage with families and residents to enhance communication and satisfaction.
* Qualifications
* NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
* CQC Registered Manager status (or eligibility to apply)
* Previous management experience in domiciliary care or supported living
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate teams
* Sound knowledge of compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* A compassionate, person-centred approach that inspires trust and confidence
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of assisted living, dementia, and Alzheimer's care practices.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Experience in developing care plans and conducting assessments.
* Familiarity with CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
