Applications are invited for an innovative individual who wishes to join our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team based within Blairgowrie Community Hospital.
As the successful applicant, you will have experience of working with people with a wide range of mental health needs, have specialist clinical knowledge of best practice in Mental Health Nursing and will be an excellent example to your colleagues in the delivery of holistic person centred care.
There will be a requirement to provide a supervisory role to junior members of staff within the nursing team, and to fulfil the Perth & Kinross Duty Worker role. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team you will demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills as a core component of your role.
The individual we are looking to recruit will be educated to Degree level or will be able to evidence comparable experience. Clinically, you will work in partnership with people to provide psychosocial and psychological interventions, facilitating, enabling and supporting them within their communities. This will support the team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred service for people with severe and/or enduring mental health problems.
