Job Title: Maintenance Multi Skilled Electrical Technician

The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Sunday, 07:00-19:15/19:00-07:15, as per shift rota.
Department: Gartnavel General Hospital Estates Department
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, resilient, and hardworking Maintenance Multi Skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The role involves maintaining a wide range of building services plant and equipment, including:
* Providing technical expertise and operating safe and efficient building systems.
* Delivering electrical services that meet NHS GG&C Health Board needs, ensuring safety, quality, and value for money.
* Inspecting faults and discussing repair effects with managers and department heads.
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and documenting all activities.
* Adhering to NHS GG&C Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Undertaking minor alterations and modifications to existing services.
* Testing electrical circuits in compliance with regulations.
* Managing daily workload and priorities, including participating in on-call duties for emergency repairs outside normal hours.
Qualifications:
* Recognized and registered EITB or CITB (or equivalent) craft apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification. Extensive relevant experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
* HNC or equivalent in a core subject, with additional qualifications in non-core skills.
Designated individuals will need to undertake training to become certified as a Competent Person, including specialist and refresher training as required.
