As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be an integral part of one of our departments including:
* Rail & Sections Mill
* Testing Solutions
* Blast Furnace
* Rod Mill
* OPP
* Metal Recovery Plant

What you'll do:
* Collaborate within a dynamic, multi-disciplined team to provide top-notch engineering services to our manufacturing customers.
* Use your skills to tackle engineering, quality, and safety challenges head-on, driving corrective actions when needed.
* Keep meticulous records of your work activities using our cutting-edge information systems.

What we need to know about you
* A minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant mechanical trade or a recognized apprenticeship.
* Ideally, experience in mechanical maintenance within commercial or heavy engineering environments.
* Experience with valves, hydraulics, pumps, inspection routines.
* Flexibility, a strong desire to learn and grow, and adaptability to new equipment.
* While knowledge of the steelmaking process is beneficial, it's not essential—extensive training will be provided.
*Certificate evidence will be required
