Deputy Residential Childcare Manager
Ilkeston, Derbyshire, DE7
£29,223 - £35,000 per Annum Plus Sleep In Payments

We are currently recruiting for our prestigious client who offer exceptional residential and childcare and education opportunities for young people ages 11 18 with complex speech, language and communication difficulties including autism and associated challenging behaviours.
We are looking for someone with at 3 years experience within a similar setting and working knowledge of autism.
You will have to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential childcare or equivalent and must have a valid full UK driving license.
The role is to assist in the management of the residential home, co-ordination and development of a range of quality services for the young people referred/accommodated within the home.
The successful candidate will be expected to display a commitment to promoting the safeguarding and wellbeing of young people and to participate in all activities with the young people.
Shift Patterns
A combination of early shifts, late shifts and full days with occasional sleep ins (approx. one a week)
Early 07:30am 15:00pm
Late 14:30pm 22:00pm or Sleep in
Full 07:30am 22:00pm or sleep in
Salary
Starting at £29,233.48 Per Annum (£31,303.48 on Average including sleep-in payments)
There is an annual salary uplift of £750 on successful completion of the first year in the role, with further £750 for completing a second year, with further increments offered in recognition of experience and additional responsibilities.
