Job Description:
As a Business Administrator Team Lead, you will manage a small team working in a Vetting & Compliance role within our People Operations Team. Your responsibilities include conducting pre-employment screenings of new starters, managing internal vetting requirements, and collaborating closely with Recruitment and Account Management Teams to ensure vetting accuracy and timeliness. You will also build and maintain relationships with our screening vendor to improve productivity and monitor SLAs.
This role is high-volume and administrative, with a focus on compliance. It requires efficiency, attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Carry out vetting checks for new starters according to company standards within set timescales.
2. Manage a caseload of vetting requests efficiently, meeting deadlines.
3. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the vetting process.
4. Maintain and develop relationships with external screening vendors to enhance productivity and SLAs.
5. Collaborate with Recruitment and Academy Teams, escalating vetting issues appropriately.
6. Ensure accuracy of vetting data in systems and trackers.
7. Manage audits to ensure compliance.
8. Report information to CIFAS as per membership terms.
9. Maintain confidential records accurately.
10. Support the wider People Operations Team on ad hoc tasks.
