About the Role
A vibrant Independent school in Harrow requires an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their creative department, starting ASAP on a temporary basis. You will deliver inspiring art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons, covering a variety of mediums and techniques.
* Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions.
* Develop students' artistic skills and creativity.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of art resources.
* Organize and potentially lead art-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
* Proven experience teaching art at secondary level.
* Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate students.
