The Role:
The Identity and Collaboration Service Owner plays a key role at Delt in taking the lead Service Ownership role facing out into Delt’s customers and acting as the service’s technical advocate within Delt.
Working with IT leaders throughout Delt they will develop an intimate knowledge of the services, technology and future initiatives. By developing a relationship as a trusted technical advisor within Delt, they will support Delt’s customers in the ongoing development and delivery of their services to help them meet their goals.
They will take responsibility for ensuring that Delt has a clear and current understanding of Identity and Collaboration solutions, along with the vendors and Delt’s Technology Strategy and Roadmap. Using that knowledge to both shape delivery activity and inform the development of Delt’s Technology roadmap.
As the service owner within Delt you will be empowered to ensure the solutions we deliver are secure, standardised, simplified, available, flexible and efficient meeting service level agreements and play a key role in defining how the services are operated.
Key competencies:
* You will be a skilled individual from a technical background that could now be working in Service Delivery, Programme Management, Service or Technical architecture role.
* Required to be hands on with delivery and improvement of services we provide across a wide range of technologies used for identity and collaboration such as Entra, 365.
* Able to translate technical language into business value and hold informed decision-making discussions with senior level stakeholders.
Experience & knowledge:
* Proven experience in a team leadership role, within an enterprise IT Infrastructure
* Experience in dealing with conflicting priorities from multiple customers.
* Delivery of operational projects within Entra ID, Active Directory, M365 or other associated tools
* Development of standards relating to Identity and Collaboration services to ensure repeatability.
* Development of a knowledge base and documentation to support an infrastructure team in an MSP environment.
* Delivery of an improvement plan including monitoring and automation
* Implementation & Troubleshooting of Identity and Collaboration services within an enterprise environment including M365, Active Directory, Entra
* Experience engaging with customers (internal or external) on service design, delivery and support.
* Experience working within an enterprise ITIL environment and foundation certified
