An exciting new role within our Property Function! We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and repair brand-new equipment, applying your technical expertise to ensure outstanding performance and continuous improvement. A passion for customer service is essential, as you will understand the impact of your decisions and the efficiency of your maintenance work, operating within your training and experience to ensure a safe environment for all.
You will maintain and repair cutting-edge equipment in our Urban Fulfilment Centre (UFC), ensuring it runs in its optimum state through regular inspections, maintenance, and improvements.

You will be responsible for:
* Completing maintenance to high standards, logging and scheduling repairs as needed.
* Prioritizing safety and dynamically risk-assessing all jobs.
* Building effective relationships across departments and supporting colleagues.
* Supervising site performance to ensure efficiency.
* Managing time effectively to maximize customer value.
* Documenting major breakdowns using root cause analysis.
* Supporting budget adherence through efficient use of spares and testing.
* Maintaining accurate records in the CMMS and completing shift reports.
You will need:
* Hands-on experience with automated equipment in an engineering/maintenance setting.
* Electrical and mechanical cross-skilling.
* Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management.
* Data analysis and presentation skills.
* Influencing skills and high standards.
