Plumber
Location: Loughton
Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per year (depending on experience)
Contract: Full Time – Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a busy and growing maintenance team working across occupied and void residential and commercial properties.

The Role
You will carry out a wide range of plumbing works across domestic and commercial properties including both occupied and void homes.
Key Responsibilities
9. Carrying out repairs and maintenance on hot and cold water systems
10. Working with vented and unvented systems
11. Diagnosing faults within drainage systems including above and underground drainage
12. Repairing and replacing sanitary fittings and pipework
13. Completing work in line with building regulations and British Standards
14. Maintaining high health and safety standards including risk assessments
15. Managing van stock and ordering materials through handheld systems
16. Using PDA/handheld devices to update job statuses and complete reports
17. Delivering high quality workmanship and excellent customer service
18. Supervising apprentices when required
19. Participating in an out-of-hours standby rota

We are looking for someone who is:
20. Experienced in plumbing repairs and maintenance
21. Able to work independently and manage their own workload
22. Reliable, organised and motivated
23. Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments
24. Professional when dealing with customers and tenants
25. Capable of working safely and following company procedures
Requirements
26. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent experience)
27. CSCS card
28. Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations
29. Knowledge of Legionella awareness and basic electrical principles
30. Full UK driving licence
31. Ability to use handheld devices and job management systems
32. DBS check required for the role
