Tech Procurement Lead | Permanent | Retail Business. Yorkshire – 3 days per week onsite
£75,000–£85,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Private Healthcare
Job Overview:
One of the UK’s leading retail businesses is looking to hire an experienced IT Procurement Lead to join their successful procurement team during a period of significant transformation.
This role will be based at their head office in Yorkshire. Working closely with the Head of Technology Procurement, you will be responsible for shaping the IT—particularly the software—category within the business. They offer excellent flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end sourcing activities and develop category strategies across the software and broader technology categories.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support transformation initiatives.
* Lead major business investments and priorities within the procurement function.
* Contribute to cost and cash-saving programmes, leveraging data and analytics through the Centre of Excellence.
* Drive procurement transformation across technology, setting new standards and defining the procurement technology roadmap.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience in Technology Procurement or Category Management.
* Skilled in crafting and managing complex contracts in fast-paced environments.
* Adept at balancing and anticipating the needs of diverse stakeholders.
* Experience influencing senior leaders within a large organisation.
Salary and Benefits:
* Car allowance – £5.7k or the option of an electric vehicle.
* 25 days annual leave per year, plus 8 bank holidays.
