Job Description:
People Development Partner
Location: East Midlands | Hybrid – Office Based + 1 Day WFH
Full-Time | Permanent
SP Executive Search is proud to be recruiting a People Development Partner for a purpose-led organisation undergoing exciting cultural change and growth.
This is a newly created role designed to shape and deliver a people-first experience across the full employee lifecycle—blending day-to-day HR delivery with a genuine passion for learning and development. Whether you're a seasoned HR generalist or someone from a strong operational or training background, what matters most is your energy, mindset, and desire to build a culture where people thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re open to different backgrounds and career journeys. You might be:
* A strong operational leader with a flair for learning and coaching
* An HR generalist who champions development
* An L&D specialist with a growing interest in broader people practices
You’ll need to be a collaborative self-starter—someone who’s not afraid to challenge the status quo and drive change. Culture is key, and we're looking for someone who brings warmth, energy, and purpose to everything they do.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on core HR processes including onboarding, performance, and progression
* Design and deliver learning sessions to boost skills, leadership, and internal progression
* Champion a culture of inclusion, recognition, and belonging
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and coaching across teams
* Manage key HR systems (ATS, LMS) and ensure tools and templates are people-first and scalable
* Support internal communications and engagement initiatives aligned with company values
* Embed storytelling, values, and purpose into training and development
* Some HR generalist experience with a good understanding of UK employment law (no formal qualification needed)
* Passion for learning and development, and the confidence to deliver engaging sessions
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
* Fun, engaging, and authentic personality—a modern, progressive thinker who leads with empathy and impact
If you're passionate about people, love creating positive change, and want to play a key role in shaping a brilliant employee experience—we’d love to hear from you.
