An opportunity has arisen for a lecturer to join our Psychology team within the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education on a fixed term basis (maternity cover). Based at Pontypridd, the postholder would need to hold a BPS accredited undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree. This post will involve working as part of a dynamic academic team on British Psychological Society Accredited Undergraduate Psychology programs such as MSc Psychology Conversion (online), BSc Psychology and BSc Psychology with Developmental Disorders, as well as our unaccredited BSc Childhood Development to deliver a high-quality learning experience.
If you're a Welsh learner or a Welsh speaker, we'd be delighted to receive your application. At USW, you'll have access to Welsh courses to enable you to develop your Welsh skills further, in order to provide a bilingual service to our students, colleagues and the public.
We welcome applications in Welsh and English. Applications in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than those made in English.

About Disability Confident
A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer. It is important to note that in certain recruitment situations such as high-volume, seasonal and high-peak times, the employer may wish to limit the overall numbers of interviews offered to both disabled people and non-disabled people.
