Our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor of cleaning and hygiene products, is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support the financial operations of a small, dynamic business. The Finance Manager role is ideal for someone with solid accounting experience who enjoys working across a range of finance tasks and contributing to the smooth running of the company.
The responsibilities of the Finance Manager include but are not limited to the following:
* Prepare monthly financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow summaries.
* Manage day-to-day finance operations such as purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
* Monitor cash flow and assist with credit control and payment scheduling.
* Liaise with external accountants for year-end reporting and compliance.
* Support improvements to financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes of the Finance Manager:
* Experience in a finance or accounting role within a small or medium-sized business.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
