Role: Senior Engineer/ Technician Location: Lincoln Duration: 6 months Pay Rate: £35 P/hr PAYE We're currently looking to add a Senior engineer/technician to our clients Engineering team based in Lincoln. Working as part of the Engineering team you will be responsible for the build, development, and support of industrial Human Machine Interface systems (hardware + software) for the modernisation and upgrade of Gas Turbines. Key responsibilities: Install, configure, and test standardisedHMI builds on Windows endpoints, Servers, and Clients. Including engineering software such as: AVEVA Intouch FactoryTalk Optix Simatic PCS7 WinCC and Cybersecurity software / measures: Windows hardening Endpoint security Whitelisting Secure backups Configure, develop, and test networking components such as industrial firewalls, and managed switches. Develop and maintain work instruction documentation for build configurations. Create and maintain information database(s). Collaborate and support the Project Execution team to enhance quality and on-time delivery. Identify and rectify problems found during testing of software/hardware and support the Field Service team during commissioning of equipment/software.
