Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Enhanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Urology Service. This is a new role focusing on the Prostate Cancer Fast Track Diagnostic pathway, with opportunities to develop new pathways and improve services.
The successful candidate will start as a Band 6 Trainee and progress to Band 7 upon qualification and competency achievement.
Active UK registration with a relevant professional body is required.

Main Duties
1. Manage practice with professional accountability, autonomy, and judgment for complex patient care, delivering the prostate cancer pathway.
2. Care for patients with complex conditions using advanced assessments, diagnostics, and interventions.

Responsibilities
* Work towards autonomous practice, completing relevant education and training.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Current registration with a relevant professional body.
* English and Maths GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent.
* Undertaking or expecting to undertake the ECP qualification.
Experience
* Knowledge of best practice in the specialty.
* Experience in service and practice development.
* Minimum 2 years post-registration experience.
* Willingness to support prostate cancer fast track service and LATP biopsy prostate training.
Knowledge and Skills
* Professional, calm, and sensitive communication.
* Knowledge of urology and common presentations.
* Ability to work across sites and analyze patient information.
Additional Information
Flexibility to work across all trust locations is expected. The role may involve relocation, with travel considerations outlined. COVID-19 vaccination is encouraged but not mandatory.
