Job Title: Sales Person
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: 30K
Our client is a family run business that specialise in the wholesale of beverages for pubs, bars and restaurants across the North West of England. They are looking for a sales person to join their team at their Huddersfield site.
The ideal candidate will come from a sales/ account managing background with experience in the brewery industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target new business opportunities
* Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new customers
* Regularly visit clients on-site to understand their needs, present products, and provide tailored solutions.
* Stay up to date with market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity. Share insights with the wider team to support product development and marketing strategies.
* Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, providing regular reporting and feedback to management.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of our full product portfolio to effectively educate and upsell to customers.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sales, preferably within the drinks or beverages industry.
* Strong business development and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving.
* Full UK driving licence– travel to customer sites may be required.
