Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to
Support the Engagement Lead in developing an engaging and meaningful activity programme. Promote a whole team approach to Engagement and Wellbeing; planning within the B&M activity framework. To work in line with the Company's culture and ethos promoting Commitment, Connection and Compassionwithin daily duties. Work with the Engagement Lead to plan activities for any hours on duty as Activity Organiser; ensuring thereare suitable resources and the environment is appropriate. Enter details of activities undertaken and levels of engagement in to the residents' care plan; using the MCMsystem Prepare resources in advance and have the space set up as required. Consult with the Engagement Lead on any plans and in particular to request any additional resources that maybe required. Provide support and companionship during activities. Identify any special interest/s that each resident may have and plan activities to support this. Ensure that areas around the home are attractive, safe and accessible for residents; reporting any concerns tothe Engagement Lead.
Essential Skills, Characteristics and Experience:
Ability to motivate & encourageactivities within the home suitable for allresidents. Effective communication skills, bothwritten & verbal. Strong IT skills Ability to work under pressure and to beflexible within role. Ability to manage own time effectively. To uphold confidentiality at all times. To hold a clean full UK driving licence.
Desirable
