We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with extensive EPC substation experience and strong P&L accountability. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial performance, contract strategy, project delivery, and leading multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle to successfully deliver high-profile substations and electrical infrastructure projects across the UK.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure safety standards and meet project milestones.
2. Manage multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Take full P&L responsibility, ensuring projects stay within budget and optimize financial performance.
4. Manage project revenue, costs, and profitability.
5. Support tender preparations and project development phases.
6. Oversee contract awards, procurement, and subcontractor relationships.
7. Coordinate stakeholder engagement and ensure project schedule adherence.
8. Maintain site presence during construction, commissioning, and energisation.
9. Ensure project delivery and client satisfaction.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Proven experience managing complex EPC substation projects with a focus on financial oversight.
* Relevant years of project management experience.
* Strong P&L, contract negotiation, and procurement skills.
* Knowledge of CDM regulations, NEC/FIDIC contracts, and environmental compliance.
* Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
* Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
