Progress Lifeline is at the forefront of the UK-wide digital transition - supporting the essential move from analogue to digital Technology Enabled Care. This national switch is vital to ensuring our customers continue receiving safe, reliable support at home and in their communities in line with the UK's full analogue switch-off which began in January 2027.
We're expanding our team and looking for a proactive Administration Assistant / known as a (Digital Transition Assistant) internally to play a key role in delivering this major digital upgrade programme.
About The Role
As an Administration Assistant within our Digital Transition team, you'll help keep the project running smoothly day-to-day. Working 36.25 hours per week on a 6-month fixed term contract, you'll be based in Leyland with agile working arrangements working from the office 1 or 2 days per week.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Scheduling appointments between service users and installers
Coordinating visits across geographical areas to maximise efficiency
Helping the team meet daily and weekly KPIs
Liaising with colleagues to monitor and replenish stock
Processing collections and accurately updating internal databases
Communicating with customers, families and partners by phone
Supporting the wider team with essential administrative tasks
Always maintaining confidentiality and accuracy

What We Are Looking For
Essential skills and experience
Basic IT skills (Word, databases and general digital systems)
Confidence arranging and scheduling appointments across multiple areas
Strong attention to detail when recording and updating data
Excellent communication, especially over the phone
Desirable
Experience working with older or vulnerable people
