About The Role
The Trials and Validation (T&V) Capability delivers independent technical evaluation and reporting services across a wide range of projects. Key responsibilities include:
* Collecting and analysing data to evaluate in-service or new equipment/system fits.
* Supporting integration and acceptance of new equipment and providing Verification and Validation evidence against requirement sets.
* Developing specialist deliverables and leading technical discussions.
* Applying expertise to ensure outcomes align with best practice across military domains such as Submarine, Weapon Engineering, DOORs, Army Trials, and Systems Engineering.
* Mentoring junior team members and considering commercial aspects to support bids.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
* Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification such as an HND/HNC with relevant experience).
* Demonstrable knowledge of military systems and operations and a strong understanding of security requirements.
* Solid grasp of integration, test, evaluation, and systems acceptance processes, with experience in acceptance, tests, and trials.
* Familiarity with CADMID, the V-Model, and defence lines of development.
* Experience in military operations, safety and training considerations, and working knowledge of DOORS.
* Desirable skills: scripting, conducting trials, or attendance at factory or deployed trials.
