About the apprenticeship
Duties
As an Apprentice Building Services Technician/Handyman, you will support our experienced maintenance team with a variety of day to day tasks, including:
•Basic repairs and general maintenance
•Painting, decorating and minor carpentry
•Assisting with plumbing and electrical tasks (under supervision)
•Routine inspections across our buildings
•Supporting with setting up equipment, furniture moves and general upkeep
•Ensuring safe working practices at all times
You’ll gain hands on experience while working toward a recognised qualification, receiving guidance from skilled colleagues who will help you develop confidence and competence.

Qualifications
A commitment to work towards a Craft/Trade/skill-based qualification.
To have undertaken or be committed to undertake training in Lifting and Handling, Fire Wardens Duties, First Aider at Work and dealing with difficult customers.•A positive attitude and willingness to learn
•Practical problem solving skills
•Good communication and teamwork
•Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
•An interest in maintenance, repairs, or construction
•Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
No previous experience is required - just enthusiasm and a commitment to learning.
