Technical Sales Administrator

Our client based in South Normanton is looking to recruit a Technical Sales Administrator to support their busy sales and projects team.
This position would suit an organised and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with technical information, preparing quotations, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.
Technical Sales Admiin -The Role
The successful candidate will provide administrative and technical support to the sales department, ensuring enquiries and quotations are processed accurately and efficiently.
Main duties will include:
1. Producing customer quotations from technical information and drawings
2. Calculating costs and preparing pricing information for customer enquiries
3. Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to support quotation preparation
4. Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing and product availability
5. Processing sales enquiries and maintaining accurate customer records
6. Supporting the sales team with general administration duties
7. Updating internal systems and maintaining quotation documentation
8. Communicating with customers via phone and email regarding enquiries and orders
9. Assisting with project coordination where required
Technical Sales Admin - The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience within a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
You will also possess:
10. Strong administrative and organisational skills
11. Good attention to detail and accuracy
12. The ability to read and understand technical drawings
13. Excellent communication skills
14. Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal systems
15. A professional and proactive approach to work
