WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of finance functions, working closely with experienced professionals to support daily operations and strategic initiatives. You will be trained in key areas such as accounts payable, credit control, payroll, month-end close, with the opportunity to rotate through different roles within the department.
This role also includes providing backup for critical functions, ensuring continuity and resilience in financial processes. You’ll be encouraged to take initiative, contribute ideas, and develop a broad understanding of how finance supports the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice matching, coding, and reconciliation.
2. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reporting.
3. Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
4. Provide backup support for key roles such as Payroll, Accounts payables, and Cost Accounting.
5. Assist with internal audits and compliance checks.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
7. Attend training sessions and complete AAT coursework as required.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications and Requirements:
8. Currently enrolled in or planning to start an AAT qualification.
9. Strong interest in finance and accounting.
10. Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
11. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to change.
13. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
