Woldhaven is a Care Home based in the Market Town of Pockington. The service provides residential support for up to 37 older adults who require 24-hour care and support with all daily living needs & requirements.
We now have some exciting opportunities to recruit for temporary roles (6-month fixed-term contracts). These are for care assistants to join our friendly and hardworking team.
The posts are as follows:
1. 2x 32 hours. Both posts are 6-month fixed-term contracts.
2. 1x 16 hours per week. 6-month fixed-term contract.
Casual contracts are also available.

It is crucial that the post holder has a sound value base that respects people's individuality and diversity to ensure good quality, person-centred care is provided to all service users.
As a care assistant, you will support the duty officer with the day-to-day care of individuals using the service. We are looking for a self-motivated, positive, and committed person to join our team, which offers person-centred support and approaches to ensure individuals can enjoy their preferred daily routines and activities.
Your duties will include supporting people with their personal care needs to ensure their safety and well-being; maintaining daily electronic records; contributing to reviews and quality monitoring; light domestic duties; and supporting health and safety monitoring.
Previous experience in social care is not necessary, as full training will be provided, including completion of the Care Certificate during your induction.
You should have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to offer organized yet flexible approaches as part of a team within the workplace.
Hours of work will be completed over seven days per week, on a four-week shift rota pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are a mixture of early (7am to 3pm) and late (3pm to 11pm).
