What you will do:
* Lead swift, high-quality decision-making at the front door.
* Manage complex cases and risk with clarity and confidence.
* Drive timely, proportionate interventions to prevent escalation.
* Run duty and triage referrals based on urgency and need.
* Provide supervision, guidance, and oversight to Social Workers, SCPs, OTs and OTAs.
* Uphold high standards of practice across the team in a pressured environment.

* Proven experience in high-volume, fast-moving environments.
* Expert risk management – confident making defensible decisions at pace.
* Strong triage and screening skills – knowing what matters, when it matters.
* Skilled in complex assessments like MCA, Best Interests, and safeguarding.
* Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and act quickly without compromising quality.
* Confident multidisciplinary working, influencing across teams and partners.
* Experienced in supervising and developing Social Workers, SCPs, OTs and OTAs.
