What We re Looking For:
* A caring and resilient individual with a passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs.
* Someone with strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Previous experience working with SEN students or relevant training is preferred but dedication and the right attitude are key.
* University students are encouraged to apply.
* A good understanding of various SEN conditions.
Role Highlights:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
* Assist in delivering tailored learning strategies based on individual needs.
* Encourage student confidence, independence, and lesson engagement.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement personalised learning plans.
* Support students with emotional regulation, communication, and social development.
* Help manage behaviour and create a positive, inclusive environment.
Ideal Candidate Will Be:
* Empathetic, consistent, and nurturing.
* Passionate about creating inclusive learning spaces.
* Comfortable working with students with Autism, behavioural needs, and other SEN profiles.
* DBS checked and registered on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
* Knowledgeable of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
