We are looking for support workers to join our highly valued Assessments Team, based in Buxton. Our Assessment Home staff provide trauma-informed, therapeutic services through outdoor and adventure activities, helping children and young people gain stability, develop resilience and facilitate transition.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and qualified activities instructor (specialising in children and young people).

You will ideally be experienced and qualified in children's residential care work, youth services, SEN teaching or complex care. The right candidate will be dedicated and proactive, with a keen awareness of outdoor activities and their place within delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people who have experienced significant trauma. You will need to have:
17. Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable)
18. Experience in a childcare setting (desirable)
19. Passion to help nurture young people.
20. A real love for adventure and outdoor activities (essential)
21. Activity instructor qualifications such as ML, MIAS, Lowland leader, RCI, Caving/Mining, any water sports qualification (highly desirable)
22. Flexibility to spend 4 days on site (on a 4-on, 6-off rota)
23. Full driving licence (essential)
24. All candidates must be over the age of 21 in line with industry regulations
